All SSD customization and administration occurs through the web based Administration Console (with the exception of the local_settings.py configuration file, which should not need to be changed after install).
To access the Configuration Manager, select the Admin link from the SSD toolbar and enter the username/password that you entered when setting up the SSD database.
The categories of configuration/administration options, and their descriptions, are listed in the following table:

Admin | - Cache Status - view the status of memcached
- Admin Configuration - remove the admin link from the SSD toolbar

- Email Configuration - Enable/Disable global email functionality, select the format of email messages sent from SSD, set the from address of SSD, set the text pager email address for incident reports and author email text.
- Manage Recipients - Add/Delete/Edit email recipients which can be selected when creating incidents/maintenances.

Escalation Path |
- Configuration - Enable/Disable the escalation path and author instructions.
- Manage Escalation Contacts - Add/Modify escalation contacts.

Events |
- Create Incident - Add a new incident to the dashboard.
- List Open Incidents - List any incidents that are currently open.
- Create Maintenance - Add a new maintenance to the dashboard.
- List Open Maintenance - List any maintenance events that are currently planned or open.

Incident Reports |
- Configuration - Enable/Disable the ability of users to submit incident reports, configure email notifications, author instructions and enable/disable screenshot uploads.
- List Incident Reports - List/Review/Delete existing incident reports.

Logo |
- Add a logo that will be displayed on every SSD pageview and enable/disable this logo.

- Manage Services - Add/Edit/Delete services that will be displayed in the dashboard.

System Messages |
- Messages Configuration - Enable/Disable a system message/greeting that will be displayed above the dashboard or a system alert.

System URL |
- Add the URL of your SSD instance and enable it to be included in email communication sent from SSD to your users.
